ACN Scam Review Leaked

ACN Scam Exposed? Independent ACN Review

ACN Scam ACN (American Communications Network) is an MLM Network Marketing company which claims to provide value to both customers and independent representatives, but is it just an ACN scam or an opportunity to strike it rich in their home based business opportunity?

As ACN grew in popularity it drew the attention of some major players and would eventually get personal buy-in from Donald Trump who once famously said if he had to start his career over and didn’t do real estate, he would do MLM network marketing.

What is the ACN Scam?

ACN has been in business since 1993 and certainly would not have drawn the buy-in of Donald Trump if it was a scam, because there is no way he would put his reputation on the line with a company that was intentionally ripping people off.

HOWEVER, there are some problems with ACN that I am going to expose right now.

Are the ACN Products Good?

ACN wants you to replace your communication technology such as phone, internet, and TV services, with their products. If you’re currently paying premium prices for these services, then it’s actually not a bad idea as you aren’t going to pay any more to use ACN and you have a business that you can write off taxes with.

What if I’m not paying premium prices for my communications? Well then, ACN products might not be for you. They will try to tell you how much better and cheaper their services are but the truth is, they are not. In fact many people say that Skype’s phone service is actually better, and heck Skype is free.

ACN Business Opportunity Risk

There is nothing wrong with the ACN business opportunity itself, as it is a good company, with decent products and value. The real problem is in how their people are being told to market the business.

You have most likely been told (if you are already in the company) or will be told (once you join the company), to make a friends and family list to call and pitch your wonderful “opportunity” to. You’ll be told to bug and pester the people you care about the most until they are sick of you and reluctantly cave in or they tell you to leave them the heck alone.

You’ll be told to call past acquaintances who will at first be happy to hear your voice, but quickly turn frustrated when they find out the only reason you really called was to “sell them something”.

When your friends and family list is dried up (which won’t take you very long), you’ll be told to either by a cold calling list and start dialing random people to pitch, or to go hang out at Wal-Mart, at the Mall, at the Park, and pitch every complete stranger who comes within 3 feet of you.

Does any of that sound like a recipe for success to you? Me neither!

Can you become successful doing it? The answer is of course you can. IF, those are the kinds of things you want to do. If you like irritating your friends and family, if you enjoy cold calling people, if you think it’s fun pitching complete strangers in Wal-Mart, then you should do very well.

But that is not me, and I am willing to bet that is not you either! That is why 97% of all people who join an MLM will never make more than $500 in their lifetime!

Fortunately there is a better, easier, more fun way to go about attracting business that I call Maverick Marketing. And the key word in that sentence is “attracting”.

You see, Maverick Marketers said “NO” to traditional “old school” marketing tactics and they learned how to LEVERAGE the power of the internet to literally attract people into their network marketing businesses.

I’m not talking about spamming either. The people who run around the internet throwing their “product” and “opportunity” in your face all the time, don’t have a clue how to make a dime in this business.

I’m talking about actually learning how to separate yourself from the crowd and put yourself in a position where people are emailing you, calling you, asking you, if they can join your team.

I’m talking about you leveraging the power of over 6 BILLION people on the internet, to enroll hundreds into your business on complete auto-pilot.

And my team and I are going to teach you how to do it, for FREE!

Stop struggling in network marketing and learn the secrets and the truth behind building an absolute empire!

  1. Interesting stuff. Thanks.

  2. Thanks for your “pitch” Robert. It’s interesting how you berate a marketing system that promotes keeping a relationship with people that know you and trust you, with some “promise” of success that pitches an unproven system to a total stranger, whom you’ll never meet in person. Anyone can fantasize about being who they want to be on the internet. Fact is, you can’t prove your system is any better. Network marketing isn’t flawless and yes, many more fail than those who succeed. But, to suggest a system that approaches a total stranger, over the internet, is far more effective in making me money than a system that actually requires an effort, suggests that what you’re purporting to be legitimate, is an illegal ponzi scheme.

Out of one corner of your mouth you’re saying ACN is a good company and out of the other corner you’re contradicting yourself. And you expect to have ANY credibility with this approach? Face it; all you have is a tool to obtain a credit card from people, which you can then bill one, two, maybe three times after a very short trial period, the expiration date of which you hope people will forget, before the victims wise up and cancel their card. By then, you would have made millions of $$ that will only serve to put you on the FBI’s list, and perhaps buy you a suite in a Federal prison.

Now, if you have a pair between your legs, post my coment. If you don’t, I’ll know you’re the scammer because I am copying and pasting your webpage, and this message, on an email that will go to all my contacts.

BTW, I am NOT an ACN representative.

    • Thank you for the message honest message Rick.

Obviously it caught you off guard that I don’t have my messages sit to filter out comments as I don’t need to manually “approve” anything unless it has bad language, untrusted links, etc…

That being said, perhaps you should work with me before you decide you already know what my methods are and how successful they are and how successful the people who work with me are.

BTW: I’m not even in MLM or Network Marketing and I don’t have a recurring payment. In fact, my training program is under revision at the moment so I’ve been helping people who personally contact me for free while I work on it until it comes back up.

You are obviously a very smart guy, so I’m not sure why you chose to spend so much of your valuable time writing me and “threatening” to show your “contacts” my website as if adding to my 15,000+ monthly unique traffic totals is a bad thing haha.

Rick, I honestly wish you nothing but success! :)

  3. I’ve read your review and feel it is bias. ACN offers services people are going to pay for anyways regardless of the economy. The idea is no different than someone going online and ordering a airplane ticket or a hotel from expedia.com or travelocity.com Those websites offer no services or products yet filter customers to companies that do. Each time someone buys a plane ticket, rents a car or books a hotel, they earn a commission. ACN does the SAME EXACT THING but with services.

Most people who sign up for phone service or television have a 2 or 3 year contract. This allows IBO’s to earn a residual income each month off of those services. Using leverage, we can introduce the business opportunity to others and when they find customers, earn an overriding residual income on top of company bonuses.

I think you should re-evaluate your position on ACN and readers need to read their input from credible resources. The company has been in business since 1993 and is registered with the BBB with an A+ rating. I will take their word over your or anyone else I read on the internet.

I just signed an IBO up yesterday, have been in the business 2 months and now have 5 Independent Business Owners. We saved her hundreds on her phone service and now she is happy to earn a percentage of that every single month as well as introduce others to the savings.

    • Travelocity and Expedia get people discounts. ACN in general costs more. Obviously that will not be the case 100% of the time.

Speaking frankly, if you put that much trust into the BBB, your going to have an awful lot of let down.

Lastly, that’s great you are off to a strong start. Often, pitching your friends and family and getting referrals from them starts out strong. I would actually appreciate it if you come back to this page after 9 months and let me know if you were able to replace a full time income and if so how you did it.

2 months into a new business is not anywhere close to long enough to make an honest assessment.

99% of people will fail to achieve their MLM goals within 6 months so if you can keep it going, it will not only help a lot of people by your sharing what you learned, but it may get you some more signups as well :)

      • What % of people succeed in any business? I would say a pretty close % of people fail to achieve any real goal set in life! How many people hit their new years resolutions?

Its the old model of MLM where you focus on your top 40% and forget about the bottom 60%! If you are true leader you can inspire most to do work!

Whats awesome about ACN is that you do not have to sell products, these products are already being purchased by the consumer. The Exact products are the top of the line communication and entertainment delivery products available in most markets, and now with Energy?

The ACN model of 2 and 25 is the best, because thats all you have to share and people with see the value and all you need is 2 people to see the value into your business and your 25 services. Teach them to do the same and over 5-7 years, you can very well replace someone elses full year salary, plus your own, in one months salary!

The scarcity Model does not work either because not everyone will see value in your business, but they will use your website to become customers of the offered large corporate business ACN partners with!

  4. Sounds good call me

  5. I recently joined ACN and am thinking there is no way these guys got to the top with their friends and family. Like you said I blew through my friends and family in 2 days. So your site is down and I don’t want to violate any ACN rules, how can I use the internet to promote my page and grow my business?
